Pretty clear, but ever so slightly hazy golden and yes, blonde coloured body with a pretty thin, single centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely above the 20 per cent opaque body. Aroma of light chocolate, nuts, strong lactose and creamy vanilla notes with a dash of wheat as well, but nice in the nose and definitely not strong in any way. Medium-bodied; Pretty nice creamy and oaty flavours show at first with some lactose, a good dose of nuts and a rustic quality somehow and a nice layer of seemingly white chocolate with a good level of sweetness here. Aftertaste shows the nutty and grainy qualities with a big oat and vanilla property, but the chocolate remains strongest throughout, in a nice, still easy-drinking way. Overall, a very nice and elegant beer that combines some oaty and nutty, rustic flavours with a light dose of chocolate for an easy-drinking beer that has some signs of flavour, but the malt bill keeps this mild throughout, but complex. Great to sample from my home state on a warm day (down here at least) in 'Winter' in Washington. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Siciliano's in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 03-August-2021 for US$2,09 sampled at my house here in Washington on 18-January-2023.

Aromas are a little bit of Dusty fruit hops and some malt. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, pineapple comes out a little and leans sweet. Decent carbonation with some bitter to balance. Not bad not great.

I call it Hazy because that’s what the label says, my first venture with the brewery. A 12 oz can coming off the singles rack at the closest HEB. My Great Heights tulip glass sits waiting for the pour. I see a surprisingly clear, light yellow body with a pillowy top of wholly white foam. The nose is citrus, tropical and lightly pine. I have a drink, pineapple right off, grass, a touch of melon, pine again and bread dough. Decently sweet and a bare touch of bitterness. Nothing to dislike here. Better than anticipated.

Draft at Craft Breww City. Pours a mostly clear chestnut brown with a small bit of beige head. Coffee and vanilla on the nose. A bit of coffee bitterness on the back-end. Not bad.

Draft at Craft Breww City. Pours a deep brown to black with a bit of small tan head that lingers. Aromas of toffee and vanilla with a touch of dark fruit as it warms. Balanced, but leans a bit sweet on the finish. Dates and coffee.

12oz can. Perhaps the most obnoxious thing in the beer world: the stylistically untrue wannabe hazy IPA. Doesn't look or smell true to style. The flavor is closer, lead by a wheaty feel. Sort of a big IPA, on the edge of IIPA. Some soft tropical melon tones back up by some more classical NW resin. Drinkable, but not really good, and certainly not a quality hazy IPA.

The fairly mild aromas are dry dusty hops with a little bit of resin and citrus. Flavors are very much like nose, slightly sweet up front with some bitter in the back, good body and carbonation with a bit of hop burn in the finish.
