Bottle shared by Johnny. 2016 bottle. Opaque black color, no head. Aroma is malts, bourbon. Flavor is malts, raisins a bit, distant coconut, chocolate, sugary cocoa notes, lactose, sweet and bitter simultaneously. 15% ABV this one? Drinks away so easy. Satin soft finish. Dangerously drinkable.

Bottle at home thanks to Johnny as a birthday gift. Dark brown to black color, virtually no head. Aroma and flavor is malts, soft roast, brown malts, bourbon lightly, decently bitter. A bit thin texture but otherwise quite nice. Solid.

Took a while to hunt down the right entry. Man this is delicious, reminds me of MBCP from funky Buddha back in its prime as in you'd never guess it was a porter with how much flavor it packs. The sugar and coconut hit as if it were fresh. Bourbon nose.

Really nice flavors from straight barrel, lots of chocolate and whiskey notes which I love when they pop out vs straight bourbon. The world needs more whiskey BA stuff. I dig the light body of this too. Thanks FlandersNed !

This black ale poured a deep black colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Minimal lacing. Scents include roasted malt, light coffee and brown sugar. First swig was nice and roasty. Flavours of coffee, light caramel and a little nutty flavour most prominent. Finish is roasty, with light coffee flavours, and roasted malt flavour lingering.
