Can from Holiday Market. Pours a unclear, murky orange gold with a finger of foam that dissipates instantly. Big clove and wheat forward nose. Witbier spices on the palate and nose. Weird plastic note mid-palate. Quick finish that is sweet and spiced. Drain poured.

Bottle shared at a Detroit share. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of brown head that lingers. Cacao nib, milk chocolate, vanilla and banana as it warms. More of the same on the palate. Fairly thick with good banana and caramel notes with coconut and chocolate. Warming but not overly boozy.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 9/2019. Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, marshmallow, toffee, vanilla, roasted nuts, graham cracker, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of dark fruit, smoke, char, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Colin. Pours clear brown with a bubbly, beige head. Quite sweet, with a lot of sugary dark malts, chocolate. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, still sugary, more cocoa, rounded dark malts, soft milky coffee. A bit basic but good fun nonetheless.
