Smells fruity and nice. Blondy with good lacing. Nice grapefruit bitter leave. Medium carbonation. Good beer all around. Bitter with some fruit in leave. Tap at Hopcat.

I’ve been spoiled today so this one falls a little short. Mild booze in aroma with some chocolate. Cloudy dark brown. Medium consistency and good head. Tap at Hopcat.

Draft at the brewpub, Grand Rapids. Hazy red body. Sugary, somewhat tart raspberry nose and body with a light cerealy, grassy backbone. Lots of punchy, sweet raspberry goodness. This should please fans of Founders Rubaeus.

Draft at the brewpub. Hazy medium orange body, thin to medium tight cream head. Nose of sugared citrus rind, lots of sweetened grapefruit. Same notes in body; full with grapefruit pulp, orange rind, and sweet, bready malts, sweet, citrusy, and bitter, with warming alcohol notes. Excellent rendition.

Draft at the brewpub. Deep opaque brown-black body, medium tight cream head. Roasty nose with notes of chocolate and coffee bean. Inky, dense body with lots of charred but soft sugars, coffee bean, hints of anise, and a tannic, slick, bitter finish. Nice balance of soft sugars, candies, and bitter roasted elements. Has a Euro-feel.
