Can from Rick. Smoky, peaty, nutty. Body kind of comes off as thin. Wood, dirt. Brown’s not necessarily my thing.

Can sampled @ Hopishop #3. Black, little mocha head. Nose is sweetish bland low roasted malts & some mocha, low umami, overall quite boring & neutral. Taste is rather bland & boring, low herbal, touch plastic, sugar, roasted malts. Boring herbal body. Very bland, nondeScript, boring & tad flavorless. Meh. DeScription says not a lager, okay but it isn’t interesting either. Nothing wrong with it but it is just barely there.

Can sampled @ Hopishop #3. Black with no head. Nose is massive roasted coffee beans, sadly the coffee is rather herbal. Taste is massive herbal roast, faint near vegetable, roasted malts, herbal syrup. Thick coffee body. With more fresh roasted coffee taste this would have been gorgeous, decent as it is currently.

Can pour at the May 1st DC Tasting. Poured a dark brown color, light tan head. Aroma was light chocolate, cocoa. Dark bitter malts. Chocolate brownie flavor. Tasty.
