Bottle at the beach in Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness next to a campfire. Very dark brown with fizzy light brown head. Lots of bourbon and chocolate, coconut, vanilla, coffee, very sugary and boozy. Very sweet and some boozy bitterness. Almost full bodied with fizzy carbonation. Not the ideal circumstances for a beer as it was quite warm so will rerate this later, but I quite enjoyed it then. Bottle at THT August. Still about the same even though it’s nicer when it’s not hot!

650 ml bottle from trade with RobertDale. Thank you Bob!! Black color with beige brown head. Malty aroma, roasted, sweet, chocolate, cocoa, fruity, dark dried fruits, vanilla, spicy like cinnamon, wood, alcohol. Heavy sweet taste like aroma. Almost full silky oily to creamy body with soft carbonation. It gets much better when it warms up.

Can: Slightly hazy, amber-yellow with a sudsy, off-white head. Floral orange and grain scent. Mild tropical malts, light caramel malt flavour. Peel and floral hopping..... A very decent little session.

Sample at Daily Growler UA. Hazy orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrus and melon, herbal hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

22 oz bottle. Pours deep red brown with a light tan head. Bourbon aroma with cocoa, roasty, molasses. Nice smooth bourbon, cocoa, molasses flavors, breakfast cereal maltiness. Definitely a lot of boozy bourbon in here; it’s well done and I really like it.

12 oz can. Deep golden with a slight haze and a large white head. Floral citrus grassy hop aromas. Citrus, grassy, floral flavors, biscuity malt. Light but still flavorful. Not a bad one.

12 oz can. Pours a fully hazed light amber with a white head. Heavy citrus fruit aroma, very ripe. Flavor is candied citrus fruit, grassy hops, touch of tropical fruit, toasty malts, with a slightly stale touch. Not my favorite.

12 oz can, undated as far as I can tell. Immediately foams over when opened. Pours a hazy golden amber with an off-white head. Citrus floral hop aromas with caramel toasty malts. Citrus, pine, floral hops on slightly sweet toasty caramel malt. It’s decent, but the second can immediately foamed over as well. Definitely some kind of overcarbonation problem.
