16oz can. Pretty easy drinking, straightforward example of the style. Perhaps not as much malt depth as other US examples. Great balance though. Smooth and refreshing. Good.

16oz can. Unfiltered, yeasty. Quite a unique example of the style while still remaining true. Sort of like an Italian Pils or French Pils. Nice bitterness. Mineral touched bready hop tone. Bright and dry, bit a yeasty body for the style. Good.

16oz can. 5.3% ABV. Really nice malt tone. Clean and bready, true to style. Relatively simple, but expertly executed. Reallly good.

Draught @ The Monkey's Paw, Chicago (August 2023). Cloudy pale yellow with a foamy white head, faint grassy hops aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter fresh malty taste with faint citrus flavor, thin body, long finish. Nice and refreshing.

Bottle pour at Dovetail, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out black pepper, light phenols, and spicy yeast. Flavour is funky and complex — pretty much the same as the Vignette. The apples are barely noticeable. Spicy, peppery and dry. Nice stuff — probably a slight step above the Vignette in terms of funk and complexity.

On tap at Dovetail, pours a cloudy, murky dark reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma is full of peppery notes, currant, and a hint of phenols. Flavour is full of intense currant, acetic notes, light phenols, and some black pepper. Tart, jammy, peppery, spicy. Good stuff.
