16oz can. Intense stuff. Montrous body, very chewy. 9.7%. Sort of too big and bold for a German beer. Sort of like a Schlenkerla pastrified...there is a lot of chocolate brownie tone going on, more chocolate than classical smoked malt tone to me. Big, bold, original, but maybe a little too intense to drink often.

16 oz can from John, thanks homie, 11/21/22. Rating #10,400! Hazy yellowish color, white head, strong lace. Straw and grass. Zesty lemon. Bright yeast flavor, and a good bit of spice. Tons of flavor. Really nice beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with medium frothy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is toasted grain and straw. Slick body, grain, straw, light crisp finish, very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours ruby with small off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is cherry skin and vinegar. Slick body, sweet cherry, acidic, vinegar, very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong smoke, wood, cocoa, dark fruit. Medium body, smoke, wood, raisin, cocoa, light dry finish, very nice.
