GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Light palate, semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Standard clean malts, a whisper of grain. Modest floralness. Slightly peel accentuated citrus. Light finish. A beer like so many others.

Cask at the Park Tavern, Eltham. Gold pour with a white head. Aromas of passionfruit, pineapple, kiwi fruit, splash of sweet citrus. Flavours of passionfruit, sweet citrus, apricot, lime. Refreshing.

[ As By The Horns Giggle Mug ].
ABV: 3.5%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, light floral. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190806]

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very roasted, lots of alcohol, some banana, yeast, coffee, dark chocolate, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet, nice roast, caramel, ripe banana, mocha, coffee, alcohol is very noticeable. Aftertaste: good bitter finish, roasted, alcohol, dry, slightly sourish, caramel flavour.
Paired with my first pork pie ever.... :-)

Bottleshare at Craft Islington. Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, tangy, a little dark chocolate. Smooth coffee. Modest spice. Tangy fruity chocolate finish. So so.

Can shared at craft beer Co Islington. Many thnaks to Daniel Osprey for this. A oily hazed dirty brown coloured pour with a a fine off tan head. Aroma is tangy, waxy, wet dog, waxy citrus, harsh.. Flavour is composed of brown sugars, cherry, raspberry brown sugars, woody,, woody raspberry.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at some bottle shop I think. Pours clear, rich caramel gold with a foamy, off-white head. Really not that bad, has some mellow smokey notes, kisses of honey, lightly toasted wheat, tea, lemon peel. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Finishes with further smokey notes, wheat, some Belgian yeast, biscuits, mild citric notes. Pretty interesting.
