Can. Near clear dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Light palate, a tad thin for the style, decent fine minerally carbonation. Cocoa powder dark chocolate malts, not rich. The coffee and coconut additions are noticeable and quite light on that order. Espresso richness works well enough with the cocoa, the coconut just provides a modicum of much needed sweetness. Finishes crisp, semi dry and leaves a mild bitter linger. Palate is a tad thin, the flavour quite grown up!

Dover to Deal is a great clifftop walk but you are very limited in how much of the white cliffs you actually see. Lots of sea and sky though. Skydust is a very juicy effort in appearance and taste. Tropical nose with citrus taking centre stage once it hits the palate.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A glossy peaty brown coloured pour with a tight beige head; aroma of well roasted chocolate malts; dry in the mouth with a rich toasted malt taste and a strong English hop bitterness adding a little spice to the long finish. A satisfying stout.
