Unclear almost hazy golden with a stable fluffy head. Ripe stone fruit, apricot, mango, papaya, mint, gletschereis, resin, lemon zest, grapefruit, pine. Dry zesty hoppy resinous bitterness, fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry hoppy zesty fruity minty bittersweet finish. What a surprise, an excellent Pale Ale, superbly drinkable, yet complex with nice mint twist!

Bottle picked up from Äpfel Getränke Moosburg and consumed at home Sunday 24th August 2025 after a nice weekend at Ulm Obstwiesenfestival, we've got Courgette Lasagna tonight for tea. This pours hazy gold with a mid sized white head. Not sure about this, the aroma is not bad, bit taste is a touch to sour for my liking, I think that it's infected, mouthfeel is fine, interestingly aroma as indicated is ok, nothing special but not indicating infected but tastewise not great at all. I will look for this again but for now a couple of sips is all I can manage.

Tap at Moosburg festival. Golden, slightly murky. Melon, apricot, peach of melba. Actually quite nice. And drinkable. Apricot. I like. And cute logo.

Tap at the Moosburger Bierfest.
Bready, grainy nose
Deep golden, light haze, white lacing foam
Light hay, old yeast, fruit notes, apricot, gooseberry, spritzy
Transport hurt it a bit, without yeast in suspension it would be great.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Monday 21st August 2023 sat outside on another glorious sunny day. Tbf this barely touched the sides, it had the usual non alcoholic beverage attributes but I guess there are degrees of acceptability here and it fell on the slightly more positive edge. I'm not going to get too excited about it, it was fine and refreshing and as these drinks are, an alternative.

Bottle picked up from REWE, Mainburg and consumed at home Tuesday 18th July 2023 listening Steve Lamaq on 6Music and about to cook/BBQ Pork Souvlaki with a Greek Salad. Pours clear gold with a large white head, clean, malty with a little warm dry grass, light grassy hops, some sweetness builds, this is another very good beer from Pillmeier.

Bottle picked up from Rewe, Mainburg and consumed at home sat outside Sunday 16th July 2023, after further tidying up of the house. We're listening to Bilk - Bilk. We're going to have Chicken & Halloumi Burgers. This pours a lemony gold colour with a white head. Clean, refreshing with a light sweetness and fruity (citrus) bite. Saphir hops showing and there is a nice middling bitterness, good.
