500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Almost opaque, redd-ish brown colour with slightly late awakening, small, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Mellow, minimally toasty, malty aroma, notes of dark honey, some caramel, a touch of treacle, weak hoppy overtones with an unspecific, floral-fruity touch. Taste is slightly dry, hoppy and toasty malty, some floral hop, hints of dark honey, caramel, treacle, almost without residual sweetness. Texture is minimally thicker than water, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Nice colour and mouthfeel, well controlled (i.e. quasi absent) sweetness, sadly a bit anaemic overall - nice.
