On the afternoon of Tuesday 17th May 2016 I visited The Tustin Brewery and had one of the most disappointing flights of beer I have ever had. Beer number six. Golden pour, clean and bright, on top a fading white crown. Piney, herbal aroma and taste, the beers are getting better, but still lacking depth and oomph.

On the afternoon of Tuesday 17th May 2016 I visited The Tustin Brewery and had one of the most disappointing flights of beer I have ever had. Beer number five and I finally get a beer with some proper flavour. This light amber brew had some piney hops in it’s aroma and taste, after the first four beers I thought my senses of smell and taste had left me, thankfully this just confirmed the other beers had been as poor as my notes suggested.

On the afternoon of Tuesday 17th May 2016 I visited The Tustin Brewery and had one of the most disappointing flights of beer I have ever had. Beer number four of the eight and I am beginning to think I made a mistake coming here. Light amber in colour with a white wisp for a head, this beer had a strange chemical taste, the first beer on the flight to actually have a taste, so at least we are finally getting somewhere.

On the afternoon of Tuesday 17th May 2016 I visited The Tustin Brewery and had one of the most disappointing flights of beer I have ever had. This was beer number three and I was hoping for some vanilla, yeast and banana action from this misty, dull yellow brew: sadly I have to report that not a lot was going on in my glass apart from a little citrus note or two in an otherwise very un-Hefe like beer.

On the afternoon of Tuesday 17th May 2016 I visited The Tustin Brewery and had one of the most disappointing flights of beer I have ever had. This was beer number two. Pale golden pour, weak white head that faded quickly. Slight farmyard aroma, then nothing worthy of note in the nose or taste, must have really subtle flavours because I could not find any.

On the afternoon of Tuesday 17th May 2016 I visited The Tustin Brewery and had one of the most disappointing flights of beer I have ever had. This was beer number one. Very, very pale urine in colour, on top a wispy white head. Bland and boring, fizzy and tasteless. Thirst quencher yes, interesting beer, no.

Tap. Pours hazy pinkish orange, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is light, wheat, dust, cherry. Flavor is very cherry forward, tart cherry pie filling, light plus sweet, perhaps a hint of tartness but not much. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Pretty interesting, but I think it’s a fruit beer....
