On tap. Pours with a black body and a small tan head. Aromas are smokey, roasty, chocolate, alcohol, iodine and licorice. Flavors are of licorice, anise, currants, milk chocolate, alcohol. Strong bitterness in the finish with some chalky notes. Thick bodied, medium sweet. Quite decent.

On tap. Pours with a near black body and a lasting tan head. Aromas of soil, coffee grounds, pumpernickel bread, chocolate, raisins and some esters. A bit of diacetyl on the taste. Also flavors of chocolate, cocoa, bready, chalky and lightly estery. Slick mouthfeel, light to medium carbonation.

Cask. A deep red beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, oxidation, medicin, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, bread, medicin, and caramel, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Draft. A black beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, oak, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt and alcohol, leading to a dry, roasted, and woody finish.

Draft. A light golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw as well as lighter notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with light notes of malt, straw, and lemon, leading to a dry finish where the notes of straw and lemon lingers.

Draft. A hazy red beer with a thin lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and butterscotch. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel combined with lighter notes of butterscotch.

Draft. An unclear light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and lemon. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wheat, and bread as well as lighter notes of banana and straw, leading to a wheaty finish.

Draft. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has strong notes fo hops is it Nelson Sauvin? combined with notes of grapefruit and grass. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, grass, grapefruit, and lovely spices - again I’m reminded of Nelson Sauvin, leading to a dry, spicy, grassy, and bitter finish.

Appearance: Clear amber with a medium sized off-white head that dissipates fairly quick leaving some lacing in the glass
Aroma: Citrus and floral
Taste: Floral, pepper and spices
A nice APA with a twist, very good
