Dark brown in color with a long lasting creamy light brown head. Very pleasant sweet caramel/chocolate malt aroma set the tone for the rest of the tasting. It was very nice on the palate with its long lasting caramel, nutty, chocolate flavors.

Very nice red amber beer with a white head. Smell is very sweet and caramel malt is pronounced. Sourish at first with the floral caramel malt finish. Very tasty!

An amber beer with white bubbly head. Very light grass type malt aroma. Sour flavor of malt flows in and ends sweet to the taste buds. Very impressive for this area of NY.

Dark amber with copper hues, and a thin white head. Sweet caramel aroma with strong diacetyl notes. In mouth, very sweet unfermented worth, with little hops, thin and short in mouth. A boring offering, on tap at McGregors in Henrietta, Feb. 4, 2006.

Hazy gold orange ale with an overfoaming white head (contaminated?). Sweet herbal aroma, with not much hops or citrus to be found. Good malt base with a fairly harsh hop character, with loads of grapefruit but a unpleasant metallic finish muddles the whole thing. Not my type of IPA.

This starts with a large off-white head over a clear, medium amber body. Decent hop aroma, somewhat floral but not heavily done. Fairly well balanced but still somewhat restrained for an IPA. Needs more hops, malt and body to really shine.

Aroma of apricots. Taste of apricots. On top of a wheat beer. Very smooth and sweet. Refreshing summer beer with nice carbonation probably best drunk cold and quick.

Draft. Copper, somewhat cloudy appearance. Fruity malt seemed more dominant than hops in both aroma and flavor. Nice carbonation that adds a prickly feel to the palate. Easy sipping, refreshing, but hops not as advertised.

Bottle: Poured orangey color ale with a huge bubbly head with better then average retention. Aroma is comprised solely of floral hops reminiscent of West Coast hops but with added earthiness. Taste is medium sweet with some lingering bitterness as this beer hits the back of your palate. There is some ‘’earthy’’ feeling that I can’t quite put a name on that doesn’t fit too well with this beer but since it is not too dominant it does not ruin this beer. Great imperial IPA.

Golden ale with a nice c-hop aroma and apple notes. Sweet malt with resinous hops and light citrus. Lemon notes. Medium bodied. Thanks Mike.
