Can. A- Tangerines, citrus, subtle pine. A- Orange color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Pine, bitter, tangerines, juicy. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- A very quaffable and balanced beer. A fair amount of tangerines on the nose and palate with just enough pine to make it a good pale ale. Not overly bitter and probably wouldn’t please a lot of hop heads, but I liked it.

Brownish-black color with a medium thick foamy tan head that diminishes gradually.Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, roast malt and chocolate. Medium-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, dark chocolate and roasted malt. The finish is mildly boozy with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Testicle flavor fairly undetectable. Above average nonetheless.

Can - listed as "Artillery Winter Ale," 9.2% abv and oak-aged, so perhaps a new entry with this one aliased? - if so, should probably be an American strong ale - pours dark amber - nose of fig, raisin, vanilla, brown sugar - low carbonation - flavor is similar to aroma - raisin, fig, date, tamarind, vanilla, toasted coconut - some notes of sherry - fairly sweet, but a moderate acidity cuts it - overall pretty good for what it is.

From my dear brother: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is that of a yeasty Belgian ale. Taste is sweet and piny. Very mellow. Not that bitter. Not that exciting. Not a bad beer, but there is not much to write home about.

Can. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is chocolate, roast, toast. Medium mouth with sweet roast, chocolate, lingering dryness, decent.

Can - hazy amber, minimal lace - low carbonation creates a flat, limp mouthfeel - nose is dark bread, cinnamon, apple, clove, overripe banana - flavor is sweet, with baked apple, banana, gingerbread - moderate bitterness and a mild acidity - some huskiness - sugary finish, with a kind of can peaches quality - not good.

In the can @ home, picked up at Boulder Liquor Mart. Pours a dark orangish brown appearance with a thin brown head. The aroma is fairly herbal with some notes of flowers, chocolate, caramel, dark fruit, prunes, and a bit of nuts. Twangy, high boost flavor. Quite sweet. Some chocolate, celery, green pepper, brown sugar, and grass. Not sure if it’s faded but this doesn’t taste too hot. Maybe I’ll try this on tap at a later time.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a bit hazy burnt orange/brown appearance with a tan head. The aroma is tame - mild caramel, banana, light cinnamon, toast. Creamy mouth feel. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Flavor is a little spicy, some caramel, light roast, some spice. A bit strong, actually. Aroma is great, flavor average.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/21/2015. Clear orange color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Grainy malt, corn and slight hops in the nose. Medium to full body with a borderline cloying sweetcorn and malt character, undercut but mild fruity hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Okay for what it is.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/21/2015. Brownish-black color with a medium thin khaki head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, oak and coffee in the nose. medium to full body with flavors of roast malt, oak and mild coffee. The finish is dry and roasty with a charred malt and oak aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
