Clean true to style. Dry, peppery(mild) from the yeast. Good beer, rounded body. Wynkoop denver

On tap at the brewery. Poured near black with brown head. Roasted malt on both the aroma and flavor. A bit of chocolate. Not bad.

Bottleshare at Leightons stratoflat. Thanks to Paul for half inching this best before 1998 bottle from the museum! Hazy amber beer, tidy but short lived off white head. Airy palate, still has decent fine carbonation. Very oxidised caramel malts, a little cream. Tangy tired dried fruits. Light finish. You never know what you might get with an ancient beer like this, unfortunately this one is properly knackered.

Crowler, courtesy of my niece-ish: Mild soy sauce, coffee nose. Black, thin head. Molasses, plum, soy sauce. Medium body, easy carbonation.

GABF 2017. Great cucumber aroma. Salty, even for the style. more cucumber in the flavor. Just a light hint of sour yeast.

Caramel color and smooth malty taste, great example of the style, low bitter from the hops and slight sweetness , great balance and medium body.

Delicious sweet and tangy orange sour flavor that makes the hops bitterness of an IPA more subtle.
