Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear orange color with a medium thin and foamy white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of grapefruit and herbal hops. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, caramel malt and a bit of pepper. The finish is moderately hoppy with a lingering grapefruit aftertaste. draft - Pours hazy copper and has a very nice pine and citrus hops aroma. The flavor is bitter with pleasant pine and underlying citrus notes. The malt supports it well and it’s overall a great IPA. Rerate 8/27/2013, tap - Not as impressed the 2nd time. Still good, but not great. 7/3/7/4/13. Averaged with first rating of 9/3/8/4/16.

draft - Pours dark brown to black and smells of dark roast malt and obviously coffee. The flavor is sweet roasted malt and some good coffee with a little dryness in the finish of this medium to full bodied brew.
