Description
Fat Head's was founded in 1992 as a premiere craft beer tap house and restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2009 we expanded to Ohio and teamed up with our award-winning Head Brewmaster Matt Cole. With the explosion in popularity came the necessity to open a full-scale production brewery in 2012. Fat Head's Brewery produces original ales and lagers for distribution throughout Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
Our Tap House offers Samples, Flights, and Fresh-brewed Pints! Sit right in the heart of our facility and enjoy the freshest beer from our tanks to your pint glass. We have a 16 tap draft system, bar seating, picnic tables, and some seriously tasty grub to go with it.

12 ounce can. Deep amber gold pour. Large, frothy beige head is enduring. Great lacing. Aroma brings big notes of ripe citrus and dank pine. Flavor follows nose. Bold citrus, resiny pine and earthy green onions dominate the palate. Some booziness in middle. Sticky mouthfeel. Bittersweet finish is enveloped by resiny pine notes.

Fruity, juicy. Decent enough. Would’ve loved this circa 2013-2015. World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister sinks Man U with a stoppage time penalty!

Cheap can for less than 2$. Clear and pale. From the beginning, its effect is that of an on-style mouth coating IPA; terribly on style. Rude-ass and bitter fer sher. I've never grown to adapt to this style but there are a million thousand gahzillion hop-forward IPA out there and so I'm tikk-em; not on tik-tok mind you, but on old dependable ratebeer! Not much c02 to make it more than interesting. It smells like the sap leaking from the stump of a freshly cut live pine tree. Taste is the same but think of it mixed with a rude-ass ale. There you have it - what else can be said? It's a big ass IPA!

Can (that says 8%, not the 9.2% listed here). Pours a fairly clear gold/straw with a thin head and yummy aromas of tropical fruit and a bit of resin... maybe a touch of honey-like residual sweetness. Flavor is big and juicy... lots of full hoppy punch (sweet lemon, a touch of resin, pineapple?) with a balance of malt that makes this one sit perfectly on the palate. This is one of Fat Head's winners. It's like a less abrasive Head Hunter, if that makes sense.

12 ounce can from Trenton Road Takeout. Orange gold color. Enduring rocky beige head. Pleasant citrus fruit aroma hints at canned fruit cocktail. Flavor is redolent of tropical fruits. Notes of pineapple, Orange, pears, peaches and grapefruit. Some dankness and pine on backend.

12 ounce can. Bright, honey gold color. Large, frothy white head. Aroma is redolent of pine and citrus. Flavor is a rush of decadent hops. Sweet, sticky citrus and dank pine. This brew reaches high on the hop meter. Dank and juicy. Peppery finish.
