Description
Fat Head's was founded in 1992 as a premiere craft beer tap house and restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2009 we expanded to Ohio and teamed up with our award-winning Head Brewmaster Matt Cole. With the explosion in popularity came the necessity to open a full-scale production brewery in 2012. Fat Head's Brewery produces original ales and lagers for distribution throughout Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
Our Tap House offers Samples, Flights, and Fresh-brewed Pints! Sit right in the heart of our facility and enjoy the freshest beer from our tanks to your pint glass. We have a 16 tap draft system, bar seating, picnic tables, and some seriously tasty grub to go with it.

16 ounce can from Trenton Road Takeout. Can say’s 8.5% ABV and 20 IBU’s. RateBeer listing says this is “Out of Production “, but I beg to differ. Slightly hazy orange brown color. Frothy tan head dissipates to a small manageable cap. Sweet, spicy toasted malt aroma hints at brown sugar. Flavor brings notes of toffee and sweet marzipan. Warming alcohol in middle. Rich and malty, but very approachable for the style. Quite delicious.

Pours copper and smells of stone fruits and resinous hops. The flavor is aggressively bitter, resinous, and fruity. Medium body. Very tasty.

16 oz can. Pours a clear gold with a decent head and aromas of juicy tropical fruit and the like. Smells a bit like normal Head Hunter with the volume turned down just a touch. Flavor is similar... a little less resinous and more juicy than regular HH. Decent, but not quite as much my cup of tea. Damn fine beer, but I'll stick with the original on this one.

Can shared at Farewell to Ferndale share. Thanks Brad and Janna! Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Blueberry, honey and wheat on the nose. Lots of blueberry on the palate with a touch of honey that lingers. Refreshing and enjoyable.
