Pretty good stuff. One of the best Oktoberfests I’ve had in a long time. Not overly sweet as most are these days. Great color, good head. Seems to have plenty of the right malts and other ingredients.Fantastic body. Kind of surprised at the strength. Superb finish. This is going to be a go - to brew this Okfest season.

Bottle shared at the Nov. 2015 Monticello Dairy tasting. Clear copper, thin fizzy off-white head, decent retention. Aroma of grain, corn, hay, toast. The taste is grain, corn, grass. Thin bodied.

Truly a delight. Tastes papery but really more like white out. Fake corn kind of aroma. Pours golden without head. Had this for a few bucks in a hole in the wall place that didn’t seem to have a name even near shaw. Tap.

Not bad, from a pounder can. Taste like many other cheaper pale lagers and although its not over the top in personality, it does come across as a little more processed, perhaps like a beer made by city brwing. Decent and somewhat refreshing fer sure. Not sure if I could handle more than a few of these babies.

I used to drink this in college, before there was good beer in the US. It was peer pressure, I guess, since they were from Chicago and I was a New Yorker. I felt like I had to drink it, especially on football weekends. I didn’t like it very much and I used any excuse to avoid drinking it.

GABF 2013. Poured out of a fucken can a clear light golden appearance with a thin white head. Twangy, lemon corny aroma. Moderately watery, a bit sweet, fizzy, grassy flavor. Not horrible but certainly not as good as some of the other Pabst products.
