Tin. Beer has nothing to be pretentious about. Faint malty aroma, faint malty and sweet corn flavor. Faint finish. Not a disaster, but even very cold on a hot day does not make this good.

Bottle. Pale yellow urine like colour. True European taste profile, ja, as die Europeer is ’n perd. Faint aroma, skunky from the green bottle. Flavour totally unmemorable. No finish

16 oz. Chicago Cubs can: Clear gold with a big frothy white head. Grain malt aroma, Corn, sweet grain flavour. Just a plain, simple lager. Really not bad at all, a cut above many of the same species.

Gold Color, Small Head Dissipating in a matter of seconds, no lacing. Light sweet taste. No bitterness no hops. Tasteless, does not leave anything on palate or as an aftertaste. Might as well be drinking water. Best enjoyed if it falls into one of the following situations: Free or you are really desperate to quench your thirst and this is your only option.

12oz can poured into a shaker. Pretty much the exact same are regular Old Style, except this one is a bit more watered down. Nothing really that special but I would take this over pretty much any other "lite" beer out there.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours yellow with about a finger of white head. Aroma of corn and grains. Taste is light bitter. Minimal hop presence with mostly corn and grain. Medium bodied with a surprisingly thick texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, I’ll always like this beer. Unlike some other beers out there, it never pretends to be something it’s not. Old Style will always be Old Style, and will always have a place in my fridge and my heart. Go Cubbies!

Can @ home. I picked up a twelver of this for today’s Chicago Cubs opening day game. How the fuck haven’t I rated this already? Piss yellow color with a white head. Bland, grassy, straw, pale malty aroma. Thin body but it does have more flavor than other macros and not nearly as bitter. Easily chuggable and the thing is that it is unpretentious!

Can. Slightly sour barley malt and grass aroma. Pale yellow color with moderate head. Light hint of malt in the flavor - otherwise not much different than carbonated water. Too bad - regular Old Style is decent but this, not so much. Get a bit more flavor leaving it in the can. On the plus side - there are no off flavors.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a medium yellow-gold with a medium sized soapy whit head that faded quickly. The aroma was sweet, tangy, corny and industrial. The flavor was dryish, tangy and had a touch of cardboard. The finish was short, tangy and vaguely bitter. Thin body. Not much to this one. Bland and inoffensive.
