Can at some dive bar while doing horrible shot so paired nicely with this terrible beer. Thin
Watery texture. Tastes of corn, grainy, sour, cardboard. Didn’t care for worse than standard macro

Thanks (?) to Darkover for the trade. I can just imagine Butthead saying "This export isn't very special, uh huh huh". Not much to say about this one other than it sucks. Pours a bubbly gold color with a thin white head. Aroma is equal parts cardboard and skunk ass. Weak and thin with a metallic skunky flavor. No finish to speak of, although the one positive thing I can say is it is smooth for such a horrid beer.

Draught, out of curiosity, at a small bar near Lincoln Park, Chicago. Pale yellow with a very small frothy white head, faint malt aroma, high carbonation, sweetish malt taste with very little grassy hops, thin body, abrupt finish. Unpretentious is the code word.

Refrigerated 16 oz can poured into a glass. Clear golden with medium white head. Aroma is malt, light body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is malt.

Subpar, even for an American macro lager. Large swipe of corn sweetness grows flat and ricelike, then gains an undertone of lemon and bread. Finishes with an unnameable bitterness and lingering a aspartame sweet streak. Much better cheap hipster beers are available.

Simple malt sweetness. I think there is a little too much sugar. It needs more hops to dry it out. --- Beer merged from original tick of Old Style Oktoberfest on 10 Aug 2018 at 23:32 - Score: 1
