Welcome to The Duck-Rabbit Craft Brewery
We are a small packaging microbrewery located in Farmville, North Carolina. We sold our first beer in August of 2004. We specialize in beautiful, delicious, full flavored dark beers. When we brew, we’re happy and we dance. During fermentation, we sing softly to the yeast. Please try our beer and enjoy a taste of contentment!

Poured from a bottle it is a dark brown color it is very effervescent and has a size able head. The aroma is subtle chocolate with a hint of citrus. The taste is a strong bitter coffee that lingers on the palate. Really nice bitter finish

Location: 12 oz bottle from jcos, 11/16/14
Aroma: The nose is strongly malty/bready, some fruity notes, a little booze, and some caramel
Appearance: A clear orange-amber colored beer with a small off-white head and light lace
Flavor: The flavor profile is lightly sweet, heavy malty, booze, and a good bit of bitterness as well
Palate: Fairly full bodied, with a light stickiness, a bit of heat, a smooth feel, and a fairly dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a fairly impressive example of the style. The booze is definitely present, but it doesn't overpower the rest of what is going on here. Based purely off its strength, this probably wouldn't be an everyday beer for me, but it is certainly an enjoyable one. Thanks Kramer!

Light citrus and some rusty aroma here. Finishes a little wooden, light bitterness. Pours reddish amber with some beige initial foam. OK for style. Bottle.
