# 1217; 10/2018. Velmi špatný pivo i na nealko. Výrazně mlátový, kořenitý, skunkový.

Well, the name is the most fun. Basically what I was expecting from a non-alcoholic German pilsner. Well carbonated, little bit of malty sweetness but mostly pretty bitter, even a bit hoppy. Crisp, dry and easy. Missing something, but not bad.

Clear straw yellow, large white frothy head that stays. Aroma: grains, spicy hop, malt. Light body. Taste: medium dry, clean. Neutral malt, spicy hop. Pronounced bitterness. Good as a NA beer.

330ml bottle from Booze Free UK during Dry January. Pours clear gold, short-lived white froth atop. Aroma of distant lager malt. Taste is extremely thin, insipid, even for an AF beer, distant metallic bitterness underlines. Dry close. Not the best.

Frothy white head stayed on a pale golden body. Yeast, grain & grass aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the tongue with a clean back. Grassy, grain, floral, yeast & pale malt tastes.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and strawy malty, relatively intense hoppy aroma, hints of grass, a touch of wet straw. Taste is bitter hoppy, slightly grassy, strawy, minimally sweet malty. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate. Very clean, quite bitter - probably the best Pilsener of all nation-wide operating brands.

Bottle from an Edeka, with an American style roast beef sandwich. Light amber, short head. Spicy grain nose. Flavor is hoppy enough with earthy notes. But the weird grainy flavor behind it tastes like chewing on a mouthful of barley. Back to the sandwich.

From a can. This is bone dry. Some light hop character, hallertau I think. Malt and a dry finish. Not among the better German pilsnerrs but perfectly drinkable.
