On tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a deep auburn brown with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dry dark grains with roasted malts and a bit of sweetness underlying. Flavor has lots of roasted malts and dry dark grains with a touch of sweetness in the finish.

I had this beer on tap. It is OK; a big step up from their lonely blonde. Some fruit in the aroma and the flavor that gives some sweetness and a hop flavor that is much more prominent and bitter than in the regular beer.

Appearance is kind of a dirty Amber with a small creamy head and a bit of lace. Aroma is malt and a little hops. Flavor is like nose some Carbonic tang, bittersweet nothing distinctive. An ok beer.

Sampled from the tap at Minnesota Winterfest 2017. Pours a cloudy dark brown with a red hue and a light brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a lot of apple, some oak, grains and tart cherry supporting. Flavor has tart cherry, sweet grains, bread and a bit of an acid bite underlying.

Sampled from the tap at Winterfest 2017. Pours a hazy deep amber gold with a near whit head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of toffee, earthy grain, caramel and a touch of bourbon oak. Flavor has notes of toffee, caramel, earthy grain with some light spice and bourbon supporting.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a near clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges quickly. Aroma has a good amount of Chardonnay with some sweet grains and some light fruits underlying. Flavor is a touch sweeter with light fruits, flora and sweet grains with a strong Chardonnay finish.
