Bottle from Flandria, Veurne, West Flanders, Belgium Sunday 3rd October 2021. Pours light gold with a white head. Nice nose, displaying floral aroma in fact this has a light perfume touch throughout. Sweetness very much evident, simple golden but very pleasant, light fruitiness, nice.

A 33 cl bottle fortunately acquired from Belgian Happiness, it’s difficult to get quadrupels nearby. Arraying my Chimay glass for this tasting, I tilt the bottle to see a mahogany brown body with a top of creamy, finely-bubbled light tan foam that settles to a consistent skim. Port makes it way into the smell along with dark fruit. The drink gives me black raisins, malt, sorghum, plums, a vinous effect, a bit of red cherries and hay. The sensation is one of significant density. Apprehensive before opening this brew as I do not care much for port on its own. But that changed with the first sip.

Halmgul vätska med tjockt vitt skum. Lätta aromer av jäst och gräs. Lätt maltkropp och en aningens beska som övergår i estrig och jäst i smaken. Lättsam och lättdrucken törstsläckare.

Bottle at home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, some hops, lightly some notes of apples oddly enough. Mwah.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy bie irregular beige to brown head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, caramel, good roast, alcohol, more roast, soy sauce, bit oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: good bitter roast, sweet touch, malty, some chlorine, caramel, alcohol. Aftertaste: bitter, coffee roast, nice, caramel, more alcohol, some soy sauce, good old school English style imperial stout, probably with a liaison to the Struise impy stouts

33cl bottle from Prik & Tik Dranken Marlou. F: medium, white, quick gone. C: deep gold, clear. A: banana, bit vanilla, woody touch, bready, bit spicy. T: full malty base, bready, woody, banana, spicy, vanilla touch, medium carbonation, bit warming alcohol, good balanced bitterness, nice for the style, enjoyed.

Flaska från Belgiuminabox. Ca 2 år gammal. Klar bärnstensfärgad vätska med högt skum som snabbt lägger sig. Söt fruktig doft som bär av värmande alkohol. Sött vitt vi eller snarare kryddigt vitt äppelcider, söta kanderade äpplen. Stor kropp, äppelgodis, ek vuxengodis, kryddig avslutning med lång eftersmak. Fint till ostbrickan. Mycket gott

Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma is pretty absent, almost lagerish. Golden colour but no lasting foam. Tastes fine, some sweetness, some soap and some hop. Underwhelming but pleasant.
