Keg at the CP&K, Pimlicoco, 06/03/15. Golden orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is thin, hints of pond water, light hop, orange juice, straw. Taste improves a little, caramel malt, hop notes, light tropical fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so offering, drinkable I guess but lacks any depth to the flavour and way down the pecking order in the IPA world. Not really an IPA @ just 5% and going by the (lack of) flavour profile, presumably added as such just because the brewery called it an IPA!

Bottle from Cornelius. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of grain, grass and orange. Flavour of biscuit, boiled vegetables and a hint of citrus. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Much simpler than I expected.

Tap at Craft Beer Rising (London, 19 February 2015) Shows a cloudy whiskey brown. The nose shows mostly a lot of sweet malts with some notes of resinous pine and cannabis in the background. The palate shows very light carbonation, a slight spiciness & heat in the middle, a very good malt back bone and a moderate to high bitterness.

From a 330ml bottle on 19/2/2015. Pours a quite cloudy golden with a big fluffy head. Has a quite distinct fruity yeasty aroma. Flavour wise, it features lots of sweet citrus and stone fruit (orange, mandarin, peach) over a light biscuit malt backbone, with a pretty firm sharpish bitterness finishing it off. Medium body and lively carbonation. A very solid, enjoyable pale with exemplary packaging.
