Bottle from Drinkmonger. Clear golden body with a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of herbs, spicy hops, pineapple skin and lemon. Flavour of grain, lemony hops and grass. Medium body with a light, oily texture. Crisp fizz. Lean and hoppy. Very enjoyable.

Bottle. Amber with a white head. Aroma of kumquats, grapefruit, nectarines, pine. Very light bodied. A very little caramel, lots of grapefruit, some pine and pepper. Bitterness is just a bit on the harsh side given the lack of support. OK as a dustcutter but I couldn’t really imagine drinking more than one.

Growler. Clear orangish amber with an inch of white head that lasts OK and laces extravagantly. Huge gooseberry, grass and lime leaf aroma, some hay and toast. Sweetish with some peach as well as some pepper at the fairly bitter finish, but it’s all about Nelson Sauvin. And whilst the intensity of it works well in the aroma it’s just a little overbearing after a while.

500ml bottle from Hop Leaf at home. Slightly hazy orange golden pour. Aroma is ripe mango and strong resin hops. Taste follows - big rich tropical fruity and resinous hops. Big booziness and bitterness that lasts. One of the best DIPAs - a standard to which others should be compared. Lasting boozy warmth. Very big but alarmingly drinkable. Definitely get again.
