Gott

Bottle from Brewcraft. Copper amber pour thin dense. Aroma - wow! Sauvin for sure. White grape, white wine, some pine. Delicious. Taste is not quite as exciting, but still quite good and very distinctive. Dry dry white wine bitterness with some malt at the end to add some sweetness. Very dry finish. Excellent showcase for the Nelson Sauvin hop. Tasty.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. A month off it’s BBD. Very hazy, reddy amber. Swirly, lasting, white head. Rich, thick, stewed hop. Minty toffee. Bit of marzipan. Oily herb. Hint of vanilla. Taste is sticky sweet, turning big, herby, punchy bitter. Very chewy and resinous. Palate is all of that. Soft carbonation. Finishes lip sticking sweet, and long, slightly boozy, chewy, resinous bitter. Massively tasty. Half a world away from fresh, but I loved this.

Craft Clerkenwell Bottle Share. Thanks to Fergus. Clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry. Thin but sweetish creamy malts. Good hop skunk, mild pine. Little tangy citrus. Light finish. Hop spice linger.

Bottle thanks to Fergus. It pours clear amber with a medium, foamy white head. The nose is soft, juicy, light peach, lemon sherbet, sweet bread and mild toffee. The taste is crisp, bitter, toasty grain, caramel/toffee, piney resin, light alcohol and a touch of hope astringency with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit restrained methinks.

From a 330ml bottle on 12/9/2015. Pours a clear medium golden with a small bright white head. Has a pleasant, light fruity zesty aroma. In the mouth it’s dominated by zesty citrus fruit - lemon, grapefruit, orange, with some peach in the mix as well. The Nelson Sauvin hops are lovely, firm and herbal, with a good dose of lingering grapefruit. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A really nice drop featuring a lovely hop.

Bottle shared at a CBC Clerkenwell tasting - London. Cheers to Fergus. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of rindy citrus, orange and pale bread. Light-medium sweet flavor, with lightly juicy citrus fruits, more orange, some tangerine, lightly bitter pine. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with rindy orange, pale bread crust, subtle pine. Good stuff overall.
