Bottle shared during the Cadβs 10th anniversary bash - Clerkenwell, London. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Nice dry roast aroma with accents of cocoa, milk chocolate and earth. Medium sweet flavor with notes of dusty cocoa, light charred wood, earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Ashy dry cocoa finish. OK overall.

Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is finely minerally crisp. The smooth pale malts impart a little sweetness. Rich skunky hops and thick pine. Mild hop spice. Trace of tropical friuts. Spicy skunky finish. A very rich DIPA but itβs also incredibly drinkable. Excellent stuff.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Maxβs place. Thanks Tom L. Clear deep golden. Aroma of slightly stale hops, kinda cat-pissy and leafy, with light fruitiness. Flavor has some sweetish malt, and slightly stale leafy and citric hops, with a bitter finish. Rather light-bodied.

Keg at BD CJ. It pours clear dark orange-amber with a small beige head. The rich, oily, stewed orange, peach, marmalade, toffee and apricot tart. The taste is rich, bitter-sweet, piney, resinous, alcohol boost, wood, peppery spice, grapefruit rind, mild astringency, hop burn, dank skunky hoppage, damp leaves, grassy, toffee, soap with a long, lingering bitter finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Big old hop-bomb. Although I enjoy many aspects of this beer it is pretty rough around the edges. Quite a lot of alcohol & IBU boost though. Alright, but not quite what I had hoped for.

Almost clear gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Sweet dried fruits and sweet floralness. Gets a touch sticky sweet. Mild spice and bread. Smooth dry finish. A little stodgy but fine.

Very light haze on this gold beer, thin white head. Palate is semi dry and only has moderate carbonation. Dry pale malts, soem bread. Modest floral bitterness. The malts come back with some cream before a bitter floral finish. Mild bitter linger. So what hops are in this Pils? Saaz or Motueka, Nelson and Riwaka? Says both in the beers listing description. Tastes more like Saaz. Slightly disappointing overall, could be crisper and lighter and would have been very interesting with those NZ hops,

Bottle, 10C. Clear amber with a thick white head That fades fairly quickly.. Aroma is fruit, earthy and spicy, with gooseberries, lime-leaf, grapefruit, some bread crust. Oily with lowish carbonation that is just perfect for me. Sweet spicy bread, explosive gooseberry and citrus, hints of other fruit. Finish is fairly dry and quite bitter. Partly I liked this because that pungent and coiled earthy/ spicy top note that green hopped beers often promise actually is delivered here but the fact that itβs a little less fizzy is worth a point too. Excellent.
