Thx! to Kraddel. 2012 Vintage. 50 cl. bottle sampled. Dark amber orange, bit darker lambic-look with lots of sediments, remains of raspberries? basically no head. Nose is lightly tart, brett, light orange peel, light, slightly tart raspberry,... Taste is very watery with some brett, lightly tart, orange peel, tangerine, all tart, some light tart raspberry, soapy, watery, light herbs,... Flat & water, like a very week & somewhat failed sour. Meh. The bottle does recommend to drink this fresh & the first rating from 2012 is much higher than all following ratings...

Name is 4D Ilan, at least on te label. Almost no head, red-foxy beer with lots of mini-UFO’s. Vinous/fruity nose, lambic-like. Bit of roses aroma - nice. Leathery, and sourish-fruity, red fruit. Serious acidity, old wood, again quite fruitlambic-like. Acidburn, light body, seems ’overattenuated’ , even when all CO² is gone. Pity about the carbonation. The rest is more than decent, despite the pH attack.

Huge, dense & fine beige head over deep-brown beer with orange highlights. Vinous nose, brown leaves, pastry or bread. Slightly lactic smell. Sourish taste, lactic acid; roasted-sourish stout-grain features; chocolate sauce. Quite acidic. Light acidburn. Quite slick to viscous, feels quite well-bodied, warming. Good Porter.

Utterly lifeless pinkish tinted rust-coloured beer, clear. End of bottle galss-adhesive lumps of... yeast? Raspberries, faint lambic-like aroma, watered-down sherry. Rather watery, partly oxdized raspberry flavour, as a glass of water with a tablespoon of totally dissolved raspberry jam, faintly sweetish. Watery, empty, light. Has all this yeast (?) done anything at all?

B. C. "H." imitation over cola-coloured beer. Sweet, liqueurish nose; spirit, but especially like a vintage, fortified wine, if certainly not necessarily port. Tastes as an old, madeirised strong Belgian ale. Which is what it is, probably. Oxydation in a mild way (no BBD to be perceived). Faint, short bitterish impression, followed by (diluted) syrupy fruitiness. Faint impression of cinnamon, after some time. Flat as a pancake, very syrupy if short of sticky. Madeirised. Sweet. Not much more to tell.

Bottle courtesy of Beerandblues2, thank you sir! Clear dark brown color, large fluffy tan head with good retention and solid lacing - not bad for a retired beer. Aroma of bitter cocoa. Taste is thin bitter dark chocolate.

Bottle. Clear copper to ruby color, small to medium sparkling head. Head is actually buidling while I’m typing this and it makes a lot of noise like a coca cola. Aroma of a belgian quad with lots of caramel malt, sugary notes, spicy belgian yeast, raisin, madeira, bit fruity. Taste is lots of caramel and raisin again, quite sweet, but that is countered by a relatively thick body (compared to most rather dry belgian examples). Alcohol burns a bit in the end, but it fits the beer. Soft sparkle. Massive beer, tad too much alcohol if you ask me, but turned out very nice.
