Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 10/06/21. Light black merging to extremely dark mahogany brown with a moderately appointed beige cap. Nose is tarte red berry fruits, funk, damp cloth, barnyard esters, vinous twang, herbal. Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, hint of cocoa powder, dusty, light spice, damp hay, stale brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic tinge. Passable sour ... a touch disjointed and lacking any depth to the flavour.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 11/04/21. This is the beer that pushes me into Ratebeers top 10 raters ... dunno how long that will last but nice to have been there along with the other awkward OCD number crunchers! Deep amber with an off white head that veers edgeward. Nose is nutty, biscuit malt, toffee, brown sugars. Taste comprises sweet malts, dried fruits, biscuit, toffee, brown sugar scattering. Medium to light bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. A little thin and wanting overall. Time for a decent whisky to sign off the weak end!
