Mosser Cider is the result of combining a passion for great cider with a desire to make a truly unique local product.
Crafted from apples grown in the challenging yet rewarding conditions of a Lake District fellside, our cider has a depth and complexity which reflects the land which yields it. Long summer days and refreshing rain, together with a cool environment for fermenting and maturing, combine to create a richly-flavoured cider.
Mosser Cider can only be found in outlets which take pride in local Cumbrian produce as well as excellent food and drink.

75cl bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - deep orange and lightly hazy. Completely flat. Nose - combination of dry apple and stewed apple and apple skins. Taste - lightly woody, apple skin and ripe apple this time. Palate - light to medium bodied, tangy texture. Dry finish and completely finish. Overall - decent.

75cl bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - pale yellow and still. Nose - gentle apple and pear. Taste - more of the same. The pear is gently sweet. Palate - light bodied, creamy texture. Fairly tart finish. Overall - not unpleasant!

Sample thanks to Danlo: Poured a clear with a tinge of yellow, head was white bubbles. Aroma is sweet pears, perfume like. Taste is light pear, tannin, funky, cheesy. Finish is semi-dry.
