Description
We are based in East Anglia on the Norfolk/Suffolk border in the heart of farming country where the best barley is grown.

Our mission is to make modern, essential beer styles with a core focus on a Lager you can drink every day, a Session Pale to keep on going back to and an IPA that is true to its form. Simplicity and everyday approachability is our focus. The very essence of being East Anglian.

Bottle from 3at3, Ely. Orange-gold and cloudy. Mango and tangerine aroma. Lovely sticky hop with a resinous note. Touch of leather. Bitter and slightly medicinal taste which continues all the way down. A tiny bit of sweet citrus in the finish before the bitterness resurfaces. I’d like a bit more carbonation. All in all this is a lovely pale ale. I’ve enjoyed all the beers I’ve had from this brewery so some of the other rates surprise me.

Bottle at home, thanks to James, 28/07/16. Hazed orange amber, floaties present, decent off White cap ... hanging lifeless floaties drops this from a 4 to a 3. Nose is bitter orange, spruce, earthy hop, tangerine, punchy citrics. Taste is harsh, light smoke, very bitter orange, herbal twang, straw, woody tones. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Not great ... strange harsh citric and smoke effect.
