Nose is dusty fruits, herb, straw, grains, pale malts. Taste comprises light breads, pale malts, herb, green berry notes, straw, hedgerow. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fine for the style.

Bottle at the cotteridge convention bottle share. A clear gold coloured pour with a a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, vanilla, sour, white apple, alcohol, paint. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, alcohol, paint, harsh alcohol, spicy citrus oaky tannin. Harsh. Green apple. Bit fucked.

Not Cotts 23. Aroma is funky. It's clear dull gold. Frothy white head. Herbal. Slightly sour. Thin. Light. Average-fizzy carbonation. Hits the spot. Didn't realise it was a Pilsner.

16/12/2022. Impressive looking 750ml swing-top bottle courtesy of and shared with Travlr, cheers. Pours slightly hazy dark golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is boozy, hoppy, woody, whiskey, citrus, grain, edge of damp cardboard. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily and watery, average carbonation. Not entirely convinced there'd be many takers in the hotel of a 750ml 7.2% impy pils but could be wrong.

Ceramic resealable swing top bottle: Poured a dark brown to black with some faint reddish edges, head is frothy tan. Aroma is roasted malts, licorice, dark fruits, boozy, woodsy. Taste is dark fruits, berries, black currant, roasted malts, woodsy, boozy, feel like a big beer but not with that 5% abv.
