Brauhaus Nittenau
Regional Brewery
in Nittenau,
Bavaria,
Germany 🇩🇪
Associated Venue: Brauereigasthof Jakob
Established in 1762
Since 2006 the Nittenauer beers are produced in the newly built brewery in the Wulkersdorferstraße in Nittenau. The new production facility with its modern technology creates an ideal space for creative brewing technology, in which old processes are reconsidered, optimized and implemented to improve the product.
Sustainability and environmentally friendly production methods are of paramount importance. The brewery favours short trade routes and convincing freshness according to the motto "From the region - for the region". 94% of the energy required is covered by an own photovoltaic system. This makes the Nittenau brewery one of the few solar beer breweries in Germany (with a seal of quality).

Light, malty, dry. Grapefruit and grains, watery, some odd off flavor. Not great.

Stark im Geschmack für ein alkfreies. Die herben nordamerikanischen Hopfensorten sorgen für ordentlich Hopfenbitterkeit.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy pale golden, coarse head. Faint tangerine aroma. Mid dry with thin body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Slight pineapple and perfume. Low bitterness.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a roughish, off-white head. Malty toffee nose with a hint of nuts and biscuits. Rich, malty body, sweet caramel and nuts and a subdued bitterness. Lacking some aromatic hops to balance the rather sweet malt side. 220422

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a creamy, off-white head. Piney, citrusy hops atop som caramelly wort notes. Surprisingly decent body, sweet caramel notes and ahoppy, aromatic finish. Quite decent for a NA - if perhaps a little stick 220422 --- Beer merged from original tick of Alkoholfreies I.P.A. on 30 Oct 2024 at 14:35 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5.5. Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a white head. If you shale up the bottle though, you get big, ugly chunks of yeast and the beer turns cloudy golden. Soapy, perfumy nose. Medium body, still very soapy - sort of a mix between camomille and lavender. Dry finish. 310322

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a creamy, off-white head. Nose has citrus and some caramel. Medium body, rich caramelly malts and a slight bitterness. Clean and well made, but more of an Amber Ale. 310322
