A low, fizzy dark tan head on a dense near black body. The nose is medium mild featuring chocolate, coffee, wood and vanilla. Dark chocolate leads the taste profile, with damp wood, fresh ground coffee, vanilla and a hint of cherry underneath. Rich and slick mouth feel.

Aroma is just a punch in the face is pine resins, and spruce needles. Some strong malts, big bready aromas, soft caramel, with some light nuts. This is an old school double ipa. Huge piney hops, big resinous note with a huge malt bill to go along with it.

Clean amber with a big warm-beige frothy-creamy head, good retention and lacing. Big caramel malt with the hoppy grassiness. Hints of raisins, farm-smells and toasted barley. Gets hazier as it pours, with some mild particles. Lots of the same for taste, with the hops kicking in a good bitter and dry finish. A good old school Imperial IPA. No juiciness here.

Golden colour with an amber hue. The off-white head is soapy, bubbly, has decent retention and leaves some dirty lacing. Hoppy grassy APA aromas at first, but then, the rusty water background comes out, with some earthiness. Not super off as it sounds, with some good malt base to balance this. Some nice fruitiness does come out and blend things even better. The taste shows the hops taking a nice place with some bitterness and dryness. Some farm, earth like notes do come out again. Gets a nice haziness in the last pour. Maybe not my favourite APA, but I must admit, it is different, but still well-balanced for its uniqueness.
