Can: Poured a clear golden yellow color lager with a large white foamy head with great retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with some juicy floral hoppy notes. Taste is also a mix of clean cereal notes with some juicy floral hoppy notes, some tropical fruit notes and a dry finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Great lager with excellent drinkability and nice NZ tropical hops finish.

Profil aromatique houblonné à tendance herbacé, épicé et légèrement terreux.
Rien à voir avec les houblons Néo-Zélandais annoncés.
Doré et lumineux, le liquide se couvre d’une mousse assez épaisse et crémeuse qui tient assez bien.
L’entrée de bouche se veut équilibrée entre l’épicé des houblons et le céréalier des malts avec de beaux accents de pain frais, du poivre, des herbes rappelant l’origan et le basilic avec un tout petit fond de nectarine et de pêche.
L’équilibre de l’ensemble est définitivement épicé avec une amertume douce très subtilement herbacée et terreuse.
Le profil fruité des houblons Néo-Zélandais est presque totalement absent dans cette Pils bien épicée.
Quand même agréable même si ce n’est pas ce à quoi je m’attendais.

A golden pils with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, crisp biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt grassy German hops, light mineral notes, pleasant.

Clean, golden colour with a white head, average retention with some nice foamy lacing ring around the brew. A big spicy Pils-like, soapy nose with a good malty, cereal base. Flavours are the same, with the soap-spiced Pilsner taste. A wet mouthfeel with a little drying finish. Quite a good, refreshing Pilsner with good fresh spiciness, soapy notes and nice maltiness.

Draft at the brewpub. Hazy amber brown with an off white head. Aroma of butterscotch, caramel, oak, light booze, rum and apple brandy showing up but not overpowering. Light heavy sweet, warmin in the finish. Thick in the texture with soft carbonation. Pretty nice.

Draft at the brewpub. Looks great, black with a ring beige head. So, when it comes to the aroma, I’m expecting bourbon of course, this is bourbon BA but what I’m getting is massive coffee. Cold brew upfront, but then the bourbon comes out behind with vanilla, chocolate, caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet but not crazy. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
