Pours a hazy orange-amber colour with a fizzy head that disappears quickly, leaving no lace. Some caramel malt base with fruitiness (oranges, apples) and hints of spices (coriander listed). The taste has the hops that I do not like. Seems to not mix well, and found in a bunch of their other beers. The rest is mild with the caramel and fruitiness. Other than the grassy hop choice here, not much else offensive and a nice try to blend a bunch of styles. The nice thing is it is for a good cause.

Bottle from my local IGA. Cloudy golden-orange colour with a decent head and lacing. Wheat smell with orange notes and nice spices. The flavours are pretty much the same. A nice dry finish from the Amarillo hops. The hints of bananas with the spices work well together. I kind of like this one, with the spices mixing a Belgian witbier and a German wheat one.

Bottle from our new local IGA. Real dark amber colour, going on copper. Beige head that dissipate rather quickly, but a creamy collar remains. Mild fruity malt aromas with notes of apples, sugars, spices and hints of molasses. The taste is weak, with some apples notes again, but not much else. Weird that flavours are not more potent with the higher alcohol content?! Maybe the oat listed in the ingredients smooth out too much the rest. Traces of raisins and chocolate malts in the finish. Gets a little better with time. Not bad overall. Smells nicely.

Pours a cloudy, deep amber colour with a slight red hue. Beige-mocha head, good retention and some nice lacing. Beautiful aromas of the sweetness of beets and caramel, with some earthiness, hints of burnt wood and roasted malts. Light dryness in the mouthfeel. Not too sweet, nor syrupy as light beer overall with the light earth notes, caramel and burnt hints. I must say, this is very well done for the style. Great smell, would have again.

Second IPA from this brewery tonight. Interesting... smoked malts. Overflow, but not as bad as some of their other brews. Slightly hazed amber colour with a beige head, good retention and loads of dirty lacing. Interesting berry aromas at first. Then, the caramel and grassy hops show up. Then, seems like the smoke wants to show through the berries. The smokey malts are very present in the taste with the IPA hoppiness showing in the finish. I must admit, this is quite a nice blend of a Rauchbier and IPA.

First IPA or two from this brewery, tonight. Looks good so far. Slightly unfiltered, golden-amber with a beautiful creamy warm head, amazing retention and very nice creamy lacing. Caramel malt aromas with some nice citrus hints. The taste has the caramel again as the base, with some decent hops. Light metallic notes, but nothing to kill. Not too crazy bitter, good dryness - just a nice, easy-drinking IPA. A big step up from their first few brews.

Slight overflow from weird carbonation. Pours a light golden colour with very tiny particles. Very, very tiny. Off-white head going down averagely, but leaving a little coating on the brew. Yeasty nose with some hints of fruitiness. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky. Dies down quickly. Really, not much to the taste. Seems like mostly yeast. The malt is so light. There are so many light macro beers out there. This is not one of them.
