Draft, pours a cloudy yellowish brown. Lots of white head. Smoke/hops/bitterness is the taste along with regular weissbeer taste.

Pours light amber with a medium white head. Honey/sweetish taste, and of course the smoke which does not overpower. Very good.

Draught. A great great rauchbier. Not as smoky as some of Schlenkerla stuff and it works well. Pours dark reddish brown w/beige head. Very smooth taste, w/sweet and bitter. Great stuff.

Optisch dunkelbraun, wenig Schaum, in der Nase herrlich rauchig, schöne Schinkenaromen. Im Trunk wundervoll würzig, eher dezent im Rauch, sehr bekömmlich, lecker.

Bottle. Orange gold in color with a small head. Aroma was indeed smokey. Taste was also amokey, kind of like a smoked ham.

Bottle from Csakajo. Pours deep copper with off-white head. Nose is sweet malts, some smoke, pleasant but quite moderate. In taste the same sweet, somewhat malty and smokey character appears with a longish sweet smokey finish. Light bodied with average carbonation, easy to drink. A nice and crisp lager with a decent, not overwhelming smokey character.

Bottle from de Laat. Super clean yellowish golden pour with a white head. Grassy, herbal hops, bread and honey, extremely clean both in aroma and taste. Refined, crisp, sophisticated. Lovely.
