100ml from a bottle at CBF 10. Dark body with ruby highlights. Tan coloured head. Sweet, earthy malts to the nose. Liquorice and toffee malts in flavour, slightly roasted, and notes of coffee. Almost ashy dryness in the mouth. Tasty and well balanced stout (Tap 1 Carlsberg, RateBeer room 06.05.2010).

About 100ml poured from a bottle. Pale amber body, slowly diminishing off-white head. Decent aroma of late fruits. Sweet malts and bittersweet citrus fruits in flavour. Medium bodied. Nice, but not more than average for the style (Copenhagen Beer Festival, 06.05.2010).

100ml from bottle. Nice appearance with its near-black body and tan coloured head. Smell of semi-sweet malts. Prominent taste of roasted chocolate malts balanced by tart, black fruits. Ends with a touch of coffee bitterness. Warming alcohol. Feels good in the mouth (Copenhagen Beer Festival, 06.05.2010).

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge off-white head. Aroma is caramelish and vague butterish. Hops grassy note too. Fruity hops flavoured and light butterish malt flavoured. Bitter and dry, rather malty finish. Dry lasting impression.
