Medium offwhite coarse head. Red body. Floral pine needle aroma with notes of soap and wood. Sweet roasty wooden taste, quite mild, with pine needle hop notes. Sweetish dry roasty wooden aftertaste. Excellent harmony and balance. A beautiful beer, even though it’s quite light. (0.5l bottle.)

Small dark brown head disappears immediately. Opaque black body. Sweetish earthy licorice aroma. Deep, dense licorice and chocolate taste, sweetish, with notes of wild berries. Very harmonic. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dry, burnt chocolate aftertaste with acidic notes. Some alcohol heat. Very nice! Drinkable and interesting. (0.5l bottle.)

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amberorange colour. Powerfull hevy hoppy aroma with all the good notes: Pine Grass and flowers. Heavy bitter flavor. Fantastic long bitter finish. Oily palate. Really nice IPA. How strong must an IPA be to be an Imperial?

Bottled. A pitch black beer with next to no head only a rim of brown head next to the glass. The aroma is sweet and very roasted combined with notes of soy sauce, alcohol, wood, and dark bitter chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of hard roasted malt, chocolate, wood, leather, and caramel, leading to a dry and very bitter finish with notes of chocolate lingering.. The body is a bit thin inspite of the 7.3% ABV. Work on the head retention and body.
