Very sweet, with lots of jammy dark fruit notes interspersed between chocolate and caramel. Alcohol is hidden, but an utter lack of hops on the back end offers no balance to the sweetness. Pass.

English: Malty, somewhat cereal and fruity aromas that have nothing to do with the roasted elements usually encountered in this type of beer. Notes of candy sugar, jujube with a little molasses blended with discreet chocolate. Dark brown with garnet reflections, quite clear, it develops a thick and creamy head that lasts for a very long time. Unctuous and very fruity on the palate. The roasting elements are muted, although a subtle chocolate base can be detected. Fruitiness and sweetness are decidedly in evidence with hints of candy sugar, perhaps even sugar cane, gummies, banana and dark rum. The body is full-bodied, the texture rich and creamy and the carbonation a little below standards. Fruity, sweet and smooth, but don't expect the usual roasted elements of traditional stouts. Very tasty. O:7.06 V: 5.0 G:7.37 C:3.3 G:16.65 T:39.38

Jamaica - what a joy to watch a relative newcomer to the Women’s World Cup go so deep in the tournament. The beer is quite nice - roasty and bitter, a bit earthy, but very balanced and drinkable. Not boozy at all.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht getreidig, leicht grasig hopfig.

Bottle. Black pour with fair sized khaki colored head that has good retention. The aroma is medium in strength with sweet dark fruits and some coffee, The taste was dates, raisins, and sweet grains. Mouthfeel was a tad thinner than I prefer in a stout. Finished short and sweet. Overall: decent brew but just a bit too sweet for my tastes. .
