Bottle 330ml. [ As Revelation Cat Orange Bud ].Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, grass, light to moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, orange, hoppy, fruity, dry, light leather - brett. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20140520]

Backlog fra 24.5.14: bittersøt med litt pepper og blomster. Prøvde denne rett før 100 Days of Hops (også fra Revelation Cat), og sluttinntrykket var at begge disse var under pari for meg. Kjøpt på Gml:Strand Øllager, og diskret kkonsumert på en benk ved kanalen. Livet er dog dejligt.

Backlog fra 24.5.14: fremdeles finner man interessante ting på Gml.Strand Øllager, og det er alltid like koselig å sitte på benken ved kanalen og nyte impulsinnkjøp. Aroma og smak av gress, fløtekarameller/toffe og en besk bitterhet som gjør at jeg satte en halvtømt flaske diskret i bossdunken. Bør kanskje prøves på nytt.

Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Revelation Cat Speed King ].Clear dark black color with a small to average, open and frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, molasses, wood - ceder wood notes. When is warms up also alcohol late in aroma. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, alcohol, roasted, woody, dark - black berries, dark roasted, chocolate, wood - tobacco. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20140731]

On tap at 4:20 in Rome. I simply liked this one! Resin nose along with grapefruit and a hint of bready malts. The mouth is round...solid IPA with the best and less disturbing balance between caramel and grassy hops. Great one! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
