Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tart and musty with notes of orange and Tang drink mix. The flavor was tart, bitter and musty with orange and Tang drink mix. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Golden coloured body with a copper glow and a very thin, off-white head, about only a centimetre tall. Aroma of grass, hay, light citrus, grain, yeast and a dose of herbs, but fairly light all around. Light-bodied; Grassy flavour with a biscuity malt bite and small flavour of yeast and fake sugars coupled with a bite from hay and dry/earthy flavours. Aftertaste is fairly simplistic, with only the malt and very light sugars and yeast coming through, but nothing that didn’t show up for the duration of the beer. Overall, a mellow and rather uniinspiring beer with grass, hay and yeast that comes through and not much else. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Shopper’s Food Warehouse in Alexandria, Virginia on 21-June-2017 for US$1,25 sampled at home in Washington on 24-June-2017.

355ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-yellow with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces. Mild aroma of orange, lemon, pineapple, floral and pale malt. Sweet flavour of pale malt, caramel, orange, tangerine, grapefruit and light pine resin with a dry, bitter grass finish. Light to medium body with a watery to oily texture and soft carbonation. Disappointing, the aroma is too mild, the flavour lacks punch and the body is too thin for the style.

Bottle, Harris Teeter, Barracks Road. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma is grass, minor citrus. Flavor is lemongrass, corn, light orange, weird malty thing going on too. Not sure it works. But it’s not terrible.

Bottle, Barracks Road Harris Teeter. Pours very chunky with a ton of floating debris. This actually looks kinda nasty as its chunky and some pieces look big. If I poured this out of a pop can, I’d pour it out. Dusting of a head. Aroma is so light... very little anything, perhaps a hint of coriander. Flavor is very plain. Almost a coconut-water flavor, minor banana, minor coriander. Not a winner.

Bottle from Barracks Road Harris Teeter. Pours chunky golden - lots of floaties, small white head. Aroma is citrus hops - nothing too exciting, but not at all unpleasant.. Flavor is lemon zest, cardboard, light burnt popcorn. Boring, as most session IPAs, to me, are.

Quart jug bottle. Clear dark bronze pour with a large beige head and very good retention. Decent lacing. Nice nutty brown flavor. Smooth. Light body. A little thin mouthfeel for a porter. Unremarkable, but good.
