Description
First brewed in 2016, cuckoo brewing at various local brewers. In 2018 they started brewing at their own site. Since then they have purchased the Brecon and Lithic breweries and also brew them.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018, day one, 04/12/18. Mahogany brown with a well presented beige head. Nose is dried fruits, biscuit, light spices. Taste comprises toffee, brown bread, fruit slice, cake mix. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough bitter.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Clear dark amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy malts, not that sweet. Fair dose of floral bitterness. Good tangy marmalade and berries underneath. Light bitter finish. Bold. Tasty.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018 - London. Day 1. Pours clear russet with a foamy, off-white head. Nice bitter, some toasted bread, grains, earth and leaves, aged berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Bitter leafy finish. Sound.

ABV: 4.6%. ✅ Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity, light earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181018]

18/10/2018. Cask at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours dark gold with a small off-white head. Aroma of flowers, fruit, grass and malt. Medium sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, hops and flowers. Nice fruity finish.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Swansea Beer Festival 25/8/2018. Deep copper in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweetish ale, with some berry fruits, brown sugar, leafy hops and a slightly bitter finish. Fine.
