Nose - creamy vanilla and coconut. Some orange and pineapple.
Taste - more grassy this time. Still citrus and a wee bit of tropical.
Palate - light bodied, dry finish, some creaminess in the middle.
Overall - good.

Can at home, 14th February 2026. Pours a dark brown. Atoma is peaty, earthy, malts, taste is rich with peat, umami, soy, bitter and sweet, meaty, smoked bacon. Excellent

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours dark brown with a thick pale beige head. Aromas of candied lemon, vanilla, marmalade and wood spice. Taste is chewy spice, mixed peel, raisins and wood again. Interesting stuff.

Nose - earthy, chocolate and honeycomb.
Taste - burnt toffee going into molasses. Again, some honeycomb.
Palate - medium to full bodied, boozy, creamy and sweet.

440ml can from Seven Cellars. Gluten Free. Clear bright golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of grain, hay, grass. Taste is malty, smokey, grainy, with some straw and grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying grassy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Appearance - deep golden and hazy. Fluffy but neat white head.
Nose - lemon, bread and hay.
Taste - orange barley water this time, some grassiness.
Palate - light bodied but very textured, zesty dry finish.
Overall - decent..

Bottle from Appellation Wines, cheers McCash. Pours still, dark red-brown with no head to speak of. Aromas are Islay whisky, elastoplast, salt and seaweed. Taste is toffee, salted caramel and seaweed. Smoky sweet finish.

Appearance - flat but brown with reddish chinks.
Nose - very Islay barrel, elastoplast and general salt and seaweed.
Taste - toffee, salted caramel and seaweed.
Palate - full bodied, salty and smoky. Dry finish.
Overall - interesting, I'd say, more than delicious. Needs time in the bottle to re-carbonate. To revisit in 6 months.
