Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme mens jeg lager søndagsmiddagen: lett uklar mørk kobbergylden med flott skum som oppfører seg usedvanlig eksemplarisk helt til bunns i mitt StormP-glass. Deilig aroma med tropiske frukter, grapefrukt og granskudd i forgrunnen, karamell i bakgrunnen. Smaken er enda bedre, og godt balansert. Flott munnfylde og smaksrikdom for et øl i butikkstyrke. Lett bitterhet i den fyldige ettersmaken. Mersmak fra første til siste dråpe. Synd at det er helt umulig å lese informasjonen på etiketten pga knøttsmå, hvite bokstaver på blekgrønn bakgrunn - det hadde vært interessant å vite litt om ingredienser, ibu osv.

Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Unclear orange body with a medium sized off-white head. Nice fruity aroma with peaches and pale malt. Flavor is fruity as well with some malt in the background and distinct fruity bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Quite straight forward APA, but smooth and tasty, easy drinkable.

Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Unclear yellow body with a big, dense white head. Not much aroma here, some general fruitiness but really not much as expected from a wheat beer. The flavor is also not very typical wheat, some fruit in general, hint of lemon and light, soft pale malt. Rather plain but quite refreshing actually. Easy to drink, easy to forget.

Flavor is medium sweet, dark malt, moderate roasted with a hint of coffee. Medium body and a bit light in aftertaste. Decent, easy drinkable stout, but nothing extraordinary. .

Flavor is medium sweet pale malt with light grassy bitterness, green apples and something slightly unpleasant harsh bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Quite boring and with a slightly unpleasant bitterness this is not a hit for me.

Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army new year’s ticker party 2017. Unclear dark golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Pleasant aroma of mild, smoked malt. Flavor is soft, sweet malt, pleasant smoke, current meat, sweaty cured sausage and hint of bacon with moderate bitterness. Medium body and nice smoked aftertaste. Not a big beer any sense, but I find it tasty and highly drinkable and that’s a good thing in my book.

Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army new year’s ticker party 2017. Unclear orange body with a nice, lacing white head. Aroma has citric fruit, grapefruit and mild malt. Flavor is medium sweet malt, fruity, grapefruit and mild fruity bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Decent session IPA, not particular bitter but most session IPA seems to have more aroma hops than bitter hops these days and this one is a rather decent one within this segment of beers.
