From bottle at Pater Marcus, Budapest, on a warm summer’s day 01.07.25. Dark brown. Head is quickly diminishing to nothing. Aroma and taste of sweet dark malt, prune porridge, and dark caramel. Also some bitterness.

Nagy, tartós, rózsaszín hab, vörös szín. Szúrós, szalmiákos illat, még a meggyet is elnyomja. Édes, meggyes íz. Közepesen testes, enyhén szánsavas, nem keserű. A szaga nem tetszik, az íze elfogadható.

Bottle at home. Pours deep copper with a surprisingly quickly disappearing offwhite head. Nose is dark malts, candi and esters, pretty sweet. Taste is stonefruits and dark malts, sugary sweetness and light esters, some booze. Closes with a sweet finish, has a ligh to medium body and soft carbonation.

From tap at Jégkert, Budapest, 17.02.25. Dark mahogany. Some pale brown head. Aroma and taste of dark syrup, sweet dark malt and sweet berries. A bit waterish. Some liquorice and bitterness in aftertaste.

Bottle. Deep rubin/purple color, with medium size pink head. Aroma is cherries. Taste is malty, with sour cherry touch, quite natural, it doesn't seem aroma and indeed it is written juice on the label. Medium carbonation, seems drinkable but at the end there is a strange feeling in my mouth, and for sure it is due to the sodium benzoate, I had the same problem with other drinks containing it...and it's a shame to see it inside a beer, for me that decreases the overall opinion.

Kicsi, azonnal elillanó hab, barna szín. Malátás, karamelles, gyümölcsös illat. Karamelles, malátás, kandiscukros, gyümölcsös ízek, némi alkoholos melegséggel. Testes, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén kesernyés. Kellemes, de nem éri el a belga quadoknak az összetettségét.

Bottle. Clear golden color, with a small white head, disappearing fast. Aroma is malty, some kind of grape juice, a bit acidic. Taste is malty, and you can feel some grape juice, but in a strange way, just like if you mix the two things in a glass. Medium/low carbonation, drinkable but strange, nothing special. It is not worth the price.
